About Shweta

Shweta is a Hong Kong-based artist, now residing in Toronto, whose work is deeply influenced by her beliefs in spirituality, emotions, and social issues. She views art as a personal expression of one's soul, where each artist leaves a unique imprint on the canvas.

Her artistic journey began years ago, and as a self-taught artist, Shweta has been able to transcend the boundaries of traditional learning, allowing her creativity to unfold freely. Through her art, she raises awareness on important causes such as meditation, yoga, the human-animal connection, and the energy of the spaces we inhabit.

Alongside her artistic talents, Shweta holds a professional degree in Fashion Designing, where she was honored as the top student of her academic year. This background in fashion infuses her work with a distinctive style and flair. Since 2014, she has been associated with prominent art galleries, exhibiting her work in numerous prestigious exhibitions throughout the Asia region. She was also recognized as one of the top 50 young professional Indian artists at a distinguished exhibition.

Shweta is a passionate advocate for giving back and contributes a portion of her sales to charity, supporting causes close to her heart. She has actively participated in several auctions, workshops, and fundraisers and has donated paintings and prints to support special needs children and women in need. Committed to promoting art for everyone, Shweta conducts art classes, offering students of all ages the freedom to express their creativity on canvas. She believes that art exists within everyone, and each individual has their own unique way of expressing it.
